Title of Development: Pensions Leavers Integration (L45)

Description of work

As part of the process of employees as members of the Pension Fund leaving the scheme, there is a requirement to provide payroll information in the form of an "L45" template that the Pension Fund provide in both PDF and Excel format (for bulk completion).

This request is to create an automated output of the data requested in Excel format using the definitions provided. Attachments will be shared later for more information.

The process for providing this information is processed by the Payroll team and processed manually for myOracle, leveraging a custom report called "L45 Balances" in OTBI.

Prior to this, a report was developed in EBS known as "IHRIS 219 Member Leaving Pensionable Employment - L45 details (Estimates)" using EiS and now ported to SplashBI.

There is currently a significant backlog of requests for processing (3K+) and there is pressure from senior management across both payroll and pension service to expedite completion of these.
